Guys, does square or gopayment allow you to store the CC info and charge it again the next month or do you have to go knock on doors every month?

The County Tax Collector's Office charges a 3% fee for using a Visa or Mastercard to pay for car tags or vehicle registration. It's posted on a 8x11 sheet of paper on every counter top in the office. I wonder if they know it's illegal?

You will have to re enter the # everytime with Square. It does not store it for you.I keep several cards on file and run them the 21st of each month.I have to type them in for a little higher fee but that is better than chasing down my $$ every month

BTW there is a limit on how much $$ you can take in each month.I am not exactly sure of the # now but it used to be $1k a week and anything over that was held for up to 30 days??

I have had square since it first came out and have never had a problem with it.I just did not like the weekly limit on what you could take in but other than that I have ran around $20k through it without a problem yet

Where do you store this information? Just written down? Did your customers fill out a form upon first sign up?

I have square and Inuit go payment. We use Quickbooks online so the go payment is the best for us. Qb online with the Inuit payment network let's your customers pay with a check or cc online. And yes you can store a cc number for future payments.
