Actually according to this article "they" say "mother earth" has been cooling or holding the same temperature for 16 years. Local temperatures will change from year to year as they have for millions of years.

Last few days here in West Texas we broke 60 degrees. I got my first call of the season for a clean up, so that shows promise. By the middle of Feb last year temps climbed to a point where the weeds started growing, and calls started coming in.
