There you go! So the truck you showed will have NO problem towing around with that all day. Did you go look at it yet

They are closed today. Will try Monday morning and see how I like it. Been a ford guy but can't beat the price for this one. And it looks nice from what the pictures show.

Ever thought about the Ford V10's? Those are supposed to be pretty cheap and nice

I'm looking at 2008s. Silverado 2500s and ford superduty. I've considered the V10 but always thought those would drink more gas.

That 2500 silverado would be the way to go. I pull about 5k with an 02 1500. It has a 3.73 rear end and gets about 14 mpg. Ford has had lots of trouble with their diesels, especially 06 and their abouts.

What are they asking for that 08? High miles and reg cab ought to be reasonable.

Personally I wouldn't be very happy paying 9 grand for a regular cab gas truck with those miles, but it's only 5 years old so I can see them asking that at the same time. If you're comfortable with over 100K miles, I think you could scoop up a decent regular cab 2500 series a few years older for around 5 grand. Just my 2 cents.
