Toro has probably the best commercial push mower . But it's pricey around 1200 . If you want to save some money look at a snapper for a true commercial mower .

Honda HRX model is hard to beat, Its rated a Semi-Commercial and gets a lot of positive reviews from residential AND commercial users are well!!!

Isn't snapper getting bought out by MTD this year? My dealer was saying something about it and he is going to stop carrying them for that reason.

Thanks for input. Yeah Ive been buying equipment on Craigslist and have Echo and Stihl trimmers, Echo edger, Echo chainsaw, Stihl hedge trimmers, Honda tiller, Honda Pressure washer.

Now I've saved a bit to get a really nice commercial 21 and it might have to be new as I can't find any used. Im also looking for used 36 walk behind and see plenty of those on Craigslist.
Also looking for an open 6.5-12ft trailer.

I have no experience with the others you have listed, but I purchased the Honda HRC last year, and I have enjoyed it VERY much so far. I typically mulch, and occasionally bag. The drive system worked very well for me, and as others have mentioned, its a little heavy. BUT...once I got used to a heavier commercial model, ( I had only used residentials prior to this), it was no problem at all.

I have got to say a lot of guys around here including us use Toro Super Recyclers with Personal Pace speed control...we used Hondas for years and not saying their not wonderful as well but....Pros of the Toro....price..about a quarter of Honda commercial...lightweight..1 man can lift if necessary....superior mulching.....Cons...the side discharge needs to be redesigned and they done do well on very steep banks because of their weight.....but all in all awesome machine.

I personally use the Toro Super Recycler with the Honda Engine. Zero problems! Half the price of a commercial mower and the personal pace system is incredible! Also the mulching is second to none! My customers are happy and so am I , so there is no need for me to buy any other machine.

I think I'm gonna do the Toro Super recycler with the Honda engine. This seems like a good start on a 21 mower for a beginner. Next need to figure what used 36 walk behind to buy.

If you have employees do not buy the top of the line commercial push mower. Just stick to a good average one so when it breaks you will not be out double the cost as the high dollar ones.
