warm season pre decision help
I used pendulum the last few years with OK success...this year thinking about changing it up....granular Guy love granular...thinking about granular pre? They argue it last longer??? Question is.... should I stick with liquid.and do split Apps or go granular. Also, which product should I use? I hate the smell of the pendi..also told its residual isn't very long compared to dimension or barricade??

I'm also looking at a granular combo of Evade(Prodiamine) and 19-0-3 fertilizer to put down next month. It will be time to fertilize my fescue properties and I'd like to be able to knock out two birds with one trip since they are contracted properties. It's basically the same cost for the combo granular as it would be for just a Barricade(Prodiamine) app.

I've never even priced granular so I have no clue there....I know a lot of people swear by the granular Apps. Just never ventured there.myself... I'm thinking a granular pre but stay liquid with everything else...I've always used granular fertilizer but id like to look into the liquid fertilizer as well... wanna try new things and hopefully find the best of both worlds and pocket book

Typically liquid pre is a good bit cheaper, making it worth doing.

Quote:
Liquid lasts just as long as granules when the label instructions are followed. If it says to apply in x amount of water followed by rain or irrigation within so many days of application, do it.
