Irrigation Design Software

Trying to find a good user friendly design software. Any recommendations?

Irrigation F/X is what we are using now. It depends on how far you plan to go with design work, but IMO opinion it is best to use AutoCAD based software.

I have been trying the RainCAD trial version. Do you know how it compares to irrigationfx ?

i prefer doing my own design

anyone ever use a program called Vectorworks? Our Landscape designer uses it for his work, as it links in with our main computer program, Asset. He says it has an irrigation layer too, I just have not had the time to take a look

Are you using RainCAD or Pro Contractor Studio? If you are using RainCAD, then I assume it is close to Irrigation F/X.

I ran PCS for awhile, but went with F/X to be able to work directly with dwg. files and for their excellent support.

I also went that route because several of the local guys using it highly recommended F/X.
