I need help with advertising!
Hey guys. i was curious what you guys think of my flyer for this year! please also tell me when i should hand them out, and if you think, for a small company who stays in a small neighborhood, and is run by a high school student, i should go door to door. Tell Me what you have found to be the most successful. thanks

I could nt view your flyer. But I would say door to door is your cheapest and best way to get started in this business. I started 5 years ago with just some door hangers I had printed on line. Craiglist is another great and free way to advertise. Just place an ad every single day. Good luck

i think it looks good, nice and simple and to the point. i think under your services a picture of a nice looking lawn might make it stand out a little more. i like your slogan too.
i'm am new this year as well, and my best form of advertising has been a website, and a little SEO. i swear i get more calls that way than the flyers. |

Flyer looks decent and clean. Agree that a small picture of a nice lawn could be useful.

I would do away with "topsoil spreading" and have it say just "topsoil"

thanks for all the input guys. i did change it to just top soil, and added some pictures of a lawn. Any ideas of when this should go out? i am located in NJ and we still are getting dustings of snow twice a week.... which kills me...

Flyer looks good. Try bolding phone # and/or email to make the contact info stand out.

I would really play this up as an advantage in your flyer, rather than just listing your services, motto and advertising a free estimate. This is what everyone does. Differentiate yourself. Why not put a photo of yourself... AND highlight the fact that you provide personalized 1 on 1 service "not like the big guys". They can ALWAYS reach you. You are their PERSONAL lawn butler. If you want it done right the first time. call me. I will see to it personally. A great example of this is the very successful Avis Car Rental campaign. "Avis is only #2 in rent-a-cars. So we try harder." Andrew P Lawn Care Marketing Expert |
