Mulching Kit??
Is there a universal/aftermarket mulching kit for Country Clipper? I have a jazzee pro 52 ZT and i would like to add a mulching kit to it but i haven't had much luck finding one online anywhere. I know i can just buy different blades, i will need a chute block though right?

mulching blades
I wouldn't waste ur time or money on them...i tried them with a discharge blocking plate years ago and it just leaves clumps in the grass....and if its wet at all outside forget about it. Your deck will clog up in a second, and you'll have huge clumps in the yard...total mess! They do however sell those thingamabobs where u can temporarly block the discharge for going by mulch beds...just my 2˘

So should i just buy some better blades and roll with it? I really would like mulching blades but i don't want clogging problems. I do need a chute blocker so i was trying to kill 2 birds one stone.

I would find some G6 gators that will fit and do a temporary chute blocker

I actually found a kit on ebay that say's it's for my mower, it comes with gator blades and the chute blocker. But it is not the temp blocker. Is the blocker what causes the problems with clumping?

Yes. Real mulch cuts basically turn your deck into 3 separate mowing "chambers". What gators and a permanent blocker do is mulch some bit, but overall still shove grass to the plate and it won't take long for the grass to stick together and form a clump that falls out of the deck. What your are looking at is not a real mulch kit, as there is o baffling and such. It most likely won't work very well. Good luck

solution!
I would use regular blades...keep em sharp and use grassflap or blade blockers...problems solved.

I had a mulch kit on an Exmark 36" and really did not like it. It left clumps in the yard and also would leave grass uncut in the middle of the deck. I ran Gator blades year around and they cut way better than the mulching kit. Just a suggestion.
