ExMark or Scag

In my area all you see on everyone's trailers is ex mark. Im in the market for a new mower and I was about to pull the trigger on an exmark lazer z s series 48 inch cut. Then just for the hell of it I took a trip to my local scag dealer. They have some pretty nice mowers. I was looking at the Tiger cat 48 inch model. Does anyone use scag ? Does anyone use scag that used to use exmark ? Just looking for some advice. Before I make and 10,000 to 12,000 investment I just want to make sure I did all the research.

I have seen both machines in action (working at local university) they have 6 exmarks and one turf tiger. From what I have seen both machines are well built but the price difference is #1the but with the tiger its more heavy duty (framing/controls). I look it as dealer support which is the better dealer, then with each machine the turf tiger has greaseable spindles, casters, etc. And exmark has sealed spindles and they last about two seasons of heavy abuse. Then you have maintenance concerns, so take a demo of each if you can.

I was going to sell my 60 lazer xs but I can't find a 52 turf tiger.. So until I find one I'm going to hold on to it.. Plus I'm bidding this huge complex this year and I may have to run about 4 mowers on it... Any new additions to your business lately? Did u ever get a dump insert

I did I bought a bri mar off a guy outta north jackson and didn't getta chance to clean it up, installed it and straight to cleanups. I bought a leavin 16hp loader and nothing big just been doing a lot of maintenance on the truck. What about you did you end up getting a new truck and how's the repair shop I stopped by after work and you were closed.
