Should I sell or fix my truck?

Throw out bearing will make noise when the clutch is pushed in, imput shaft bearing will make noise with the clutch ingaged or your foot off the pedal, eighter way why sell the truck for that???

You dont have to rebuild the whole trans, a seal kit and bearing will be just fine, as long as all the gears shift and lock smooothly, and dot pop out.

I would fix the truck even if your going sell it or keep it

But personly i would put a bearing in if it was cheaper

Last summer I bought two trucks like yours ,v6,cloth seats,roll-up windows ,rubber floor,single cab long box air,auto not manual very good condition and paid $250.00 for one ,$500.00 for the other needing no more than a front brake job on each .I think your value estimate is way out to lunch ,but maybe your area has expensive trucks .

Have any more trucks up there for that price? :P

If thats the only problem with the truck, I would think it would be no question to fix and keep it.

I'd fix it too! Other than mine is auto its identical and I think its a fantastic work truck!

I never had any problems with the levelers (coil spring) I have aluminum ones from a guy I bought them off of ebay. My friend has an 2002 silverardo and he was the one who told me about them. I probably wouldn't take it off roading as in jumping the truck but just for what I use it for is great. I do go off road on job sites but like I said I don't jump or do any mudding lol

Haha I was only kidding if I get anymore old trucks I'm going to have to live in it :P. Those trucks are selling for far more than that down here tho, you could easily add another zero to the price for a 2005!

I'll have to check them out, seems like it might serve my purpose. Do you have many miles on them? I was just worried about how they would affect wear on the balljoints and whatnot?
