Irrigation service technician

Job responsibilities, field service technician:
Service area is Skagit, Snohomish and island counties
Will have to commute daily to Mount Vernon, Wa
Providing routine maintenance and adjustments on existing sprinkler systems
Making repairs to existing sprinkler systems
Scheduling appointments with customers
Responding to service calls, diagnosing problems, performing on the spot estimates for customers
Installing new sprinkler systems
Up selling upgrades to customers
Installing and maintaining low voltage lighting systems
Manual digging and labor is involved with this position
Performing backflow tests (we can provide training for backflow cert)
Hanging Christmas lights
Snow plowing/snow removal during the winter

Hours
Full time mon- Fri from April- November most weeks 40-50 hours. Off season depends on work load. Weekend work occasionally on emergency repairs.


Job requirements
Must be 18 or over
Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
Must have good customer service skills
Past sales experience is a plus
Must have previous experience with sprinkler systems
Honest, reliable
Hard working
Drug free (must have good background and drug free)
Understanding of sprinkler system operations and repair
Ability to work alone
Backflow certification is a plus
Plumbing and electrical experience is a plus

We are looking for a long-term employee who is hard working and has experience with sprinkler systems. This is a fast growing company and there is definitely opportunity for advancement.

Pay
Hourly +, commissions for up selling. (pay depends on experience)
