what do you pay your lead guy????

i employ 3 guys in my little landscaping business. my lead guy is 23 years old and has been with me for almost 3 years. he can do what needs to be done considering lawn maintenance and planting. he also has gotten quite good at building walls, and patios. he has gotten quite good at cutting pavers. at this point right now. he has asked for a raise this year and i was curious what you all pay your guy in this position or what you think he should be paid. thanks for any input.
