I do not expect many dealers to budge on price hoping to make some big bucks on the new line.
I firmly believe the price should settle into the somewhere between 1499 and 1599. |

I looked at the Turfmaster at my dealer yesterday.
First of all the machine feels huge compared to a 21", but is still maneuvers easily. The 2-point height adjustment is great, don't have to adjust wheels on both sides. My concerns are plastic wheels and the single speed. I bought the POS commerical 22156 Toro with the single speed, and I was changing belts after only a few weeks. Any idea if that will be an issue with this mower? I hope this mower proves to be a winner because the 30" deck would fit in very well with our set up. Prices range from $1700-$1800 here in Portland |

Yeah. Stark St. has the Toros in now, still waiting until March for the Exmarks. $1800.00 for both the Toro and Exmark.
Harry's up in Vancouver doesn't get them in for about two more weeks but I'm going to wait to buy there. Exmark for $1630. Toro for $1700. |

The blades may look similar to other products; however, the blade is unique to the Commercial 30. It has a higher lift sail that eliminates many of the uncut stragglers so it creates a smoother/crisper cut and increases the bagging performance. It also has higher blade tip speed than competitive products. We do also offer a low lift blade.

What are the differences b/tw the ExMark and Toro commercial models? Anything in the cutting area under the deck specifically?

I have contacted several dealers in the Nevada Utah area and they won't budge from 1800 for the exmark 30. Getting quoted in the 1600's is pretty impressive.

Getting the Toro Turfmaster shipped to me for 1750.00. Hate doing it sight unseen but local dealer won't budget off the 1999 price tag and have to buy it regardless if they order it.
