Equipment

Ok this is the set up I am thinking of buying for my start up this season let me know what you guys think and if you have any recommended changes.

Mower: HRC216 (self propel) or HRX (I think the lower cost might be better for a start up.

Blower: Redmax 8500 or Shindawa 802 (wisesales has a great price for the 802)

Edger: Shindawa LE254

Hedge Trimmer: Maruyama HT2321L (Im not sure if I will be able to get my hands on this because there arent any dealers around me so please recommend another)

Line Trimmer: Stihl FS 250R (another recommendation for this I would like to keep all my equipment the same color to match my black and red logo, and to keep the set up uniformed, so another brand that is black and red)

Without talking about brands, I say stick to what you have local. Yes, you can find some deals online but dealer support is a huge thing to take into account when purchasing any equipment in my mind. As far as brands are concerned your going to get 1,000,000 different answers. I prefer redmax for blowers and trimmers and i drive 34 minutes to the dealer over the stihl dealer which is 3 minutes from my house. I use stihl chainsaws and i do have a few other stihl products but as i replace my equipment with new stuff i am buying redmax. The 8500 blower is a beast. I have one currently and will be picking up another come time september. It is alot for everyday blowing but will pay for itself in the fall clean up time. good luck on your endeavor keep us posted
