Hey guys, I started a profile a few months back after a friend of mine recommended it to me. Just starting to get into the swing of things as far as this site goes now, seems like there is huge wealth of info on here and I'm excited be on.

Figured I'd start my first thread introducing myself. I've been landscaping since I was about 14, I incorporated at 18 and I'm 23 now, so still looking to grow the business! Had a decent amount of education in the field during high school horticulture. In college worked on landscape arch. and some turf courses as well. The company name is a family name but I started it myself, working out of little Rhode Island.

Just started a Facebook page for the company as well about a year ago, if ya have a chance drop by and check it out let me know what ya think! Trying to build up the likes for some more out reach!

The area I started in and still operate out of has many properties closer together which makes larger equipment pretty difficult to get in.

I'm at the point where I definitely need to start getting some bigger equipment but don't want to completely switch over replacing everything and lose the smaller accounts because I can't get to them easily. They are less profitable but I like the steady income, and don't like the idea of dropping clients.

Just curious if many of you guys out there have similar situations and run two operations one set up for the smaller outfits in tighter more populated areas and others rigs for bigger residences and commercial? If so I'm all ears thanks

I run a 7x17 trailer pulled by my extended cab truck for larger jobs. In smaller subdivisions you can't even park without blocking somebody's driveway. So for the small stuff me run a cargo can with little ramps Easy in and maneuverability in subdivisions.
