Meta Descriptions provide the bit of copy you see in the search results. If you leave the tag empty, or don't include it all, Google pull's from your page content. If you want to creatively control the first words your potential customer will read, these are a good place to start. With this one, write for the customer, not the search engines.

Thanks, I really appreciate it! I found the fix to the pages where the 'scallops' from the footer were above the content crowding the logo. The facebook like box widget that I had in the right sidebar was causing this for some reason. Once I got rid of that and replaced with a new one, it fixed the problem. Im always looking to improve so i love all the input. Thanks again!
