Received empty package from Rittenhouse

Has anyone ever ordered a TeeJet spray gun from Rittenhouse online? I bought one last week and the UPS truck delivered my box this afternoon. Inside was a smaller box that the TeeJet gun was supposed to be in. The only thing inside it was a plastic wrapper that had been cut open. I left Rittenhouse a voicemail this evening to address this issue. Hopefully they get back with me next week and make the situation right. This gun was $74. The 1.5 gpm gray tip was in its own little box, as well as the swivel I bought too. The gun however, is missing in action. This is the first time I've purchased anything from Rittenhouse. Has anyone had this problem before?

I'm sure they'll take care of it. I would, though call them during the day and speak with customer service rather than just leaving a voice mail.

Did it look like the outer box had been opened and re-taped? If so call 1-800-pick-ups and notify them. Get the process started on that end too.

They are my main vendor for spray parts. Never had an empty box or partially filled order. I get an E-Mail from Toni or Robert if what I ordered is a non stock item that will take more than a few days for them to get.

I bough like 7 2.5 gals of herbicides and they were shipped UPS when i got them some were in buckets and others were in jugs. I call my dist and ask why they were this way and he said 3 way doesn't come in pails

UPS crushed the jugs and went and bought pails removed the lables and poured herdicides in the pails and put the lables back on. They did a good job it was hard to tell at first.

I never did get 1 of the 2.5 juges of herbicides they kept coming crushed they just gave me a credit

I'm hoping they will make it right. It was after business hours (Rittenhouse isn't in my time zone) when I tried to call. I will follow up on my call Monday. I will keep everyone posted. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt.

I find it impossible to believe that UPS did something like that. Even harder to see how they removed the labels and put them on the pails. I'm certain they have procedures in place that prohibits their employees from messing with hazardous materials. Likely this is something the distributor did and wasn't owning up to because the DEC would crucify them.

If the jugs were being crushed it was because they weren't packed properly in boxes. Your distributor apparently just slapped a UPS label on the jug and threw it into UPS. That how you received them?
