When to switch from prodiamine to deminsion

In the past I've been lucky to get all my first round of pre down in time. Lucky for me I'm getting calls every week.

My normal program is a split app of prodiamine.

So when do you switch to dimension to get some of the young cg? 55 degree soil temp?

When you do switch is it possible to do deminsion at a lower rate and follow up with my normal second app of prodiamine?

Low rate Dimension does not do much to crabgrass as a post emergent. I suggest you need post emergent only when you have seen new crabgrass at about a quarter inch tall. About when temperature first hits 85 degrees in the afternoon.
Better to follow up with quinclorac, and only where needed. Opinions vary. Your state and climate is different.
