Propane advice
I am considering starting to switch some equipment to propane. For those guys that have made the switch, has it been a smooth transition? What are the pros and cons? Where did you get your conversion kit?

He said probably metro but wasn't sure. He said that Kawasaki unconditionally honors the warranty with their kit. Personally, I don't care, I just want to save money.

2 brand new scags. 61 inch with 27 Kawasaki engines. I have 2 52 inch scags with 25 Kohler gas engines so i can give some comparisons.

An update for you on Metro lawn. The dealer says that they are a nightmare to deal with. He is trying to get set up as a dealer so that he can get us the mowers but they are in no big hurry. Supposedly, one to three months is what it takes to get the approval for the dealership. There is a big push to use their Amerigas supplier, whic000000h does not interest Bob because we have a great local supplier. But we have to use metro to get the tax credit and warranty. They almost make the case for just staying with gas and going with the efi engines. Oh well, I am committed now so hopefully I can get back to you soon.

Several more days. I think he said the 29th we would have them or maybe he would be able to get the systems installed. Either way, I am looking at Wednesday or Thursday next week. Good thing I have several older backup mowers. I think the propane is still a good idea, though. Later.
