Fertlizing the lawn?

Ok simple question, but I need the simple answer, lol. First year getting into fert/herbicide.

Ok so one my properties is pretty far away from where I normally work and I want to put down scotts fert on it right after I mow the property 4 times a year. This is ok isn't it? I assume it is, but just want to be sure. If I have to come back another time and do it, I won't be able to make any money.

Any help would be great!

Yep finishing that up in a few days at Purdue University. I mean I thought that seemed normal, buy my brain has not been able to take in all the different variants when it comes to fertilizer and what to do and what not to do, lol. Thanks man
