How do you even know it's the carburetor for sure?
No, man, this isn't how I do things.

First we need to determine if fuel is even getting to the carburetor...
Have you disconnected the fuel line at the carburetor inlet and made sure fuel comes out good and steady?
If it isn't, replace fuel lines AND fuel filter.

How about the spark plug, did you replace it?
Maybe you should, because it's fixing to get expensive ...
I'd like to be sure it's not the $2 spark plug first.
Gap .025

Next it would be really nice if we had both a spare coil AND a spare carburetor that are in known working order.
Because you're going to have to replace one, then the other.

Forget rebuild kits, waste of time.

Good thread. Problem we've all either had, or will have. Gots to get fuel into the carb eh? Been there (bought a carb too). Really makes you feel stupid when you find the blockage. Hope she lives on!
