Value on 48" Turf Tracer HP

I came across this mower, wondering what everyone values it at? Owner says its a 2008-2009 model, and has low hours, but you never know. Wondering if there is any identifying points that can tell you the age? Its very faded so I assume it was on an open trailer. Let me know. Thanks.

With no service records $2400 OK if there are service records $3000
If machine was left on open trailer it's appearance will look like that and still have low hours.you need to look for play in all deck points, lift the wheels look for play at wheels run engine at full throttle for 10 minutes, text hydro's on a hill if possible

I just bought the same mower for $1900...but I also think I got a great deal and mine appears to be in better condition. Mine is a 2008 17 hp kaw 800 hours. Hope this helps

Thanks for the input, I live in Canada and things tend to cost more here.

Hopefully it comes with a battery. If you go to look at the mower, take the engine cover off. Check the cooling fins on the cylinder. That engine is notorious for leaking oil on the cooling fins on top, where you can't see them unless you take the plastic cover off. This little bit of oil that leaks is undetectable during oil changes usually, but will be enough to make a sticky surface that clippings, dirt, dust, etc... Will be easily stick to. After a few hundred hours of this, the fins will be so clogged that the engine will over heat and fail. I do not like this series of Kawasaki engine and always have to clean mine. Just make sure that this one is clean.

Ddixon:
Does that problem occur on both the 17 and 19 hp Kawasaki?
