Time for a bump on this.

Is it true this is a heat and temp released fert...?

I was also told it is not the best choice for getting the lawn greened up at first. Use a faster release product in Spring....get the lawn to where you need it ....then apply THIS product.

I have similar questions about Duration technology as above.
Also, how could a guy make this work for 4-5 app residential customers?
Commercial accounts, I agree this could be a winner.
I have read on here, if the summer is very hot, the product 'poops out' by end of summer. Accordingly would it be a good time to put a 2nd app of this product on late summer?

It is best for grass to have the fertilizer used up before the ground freezes and to not have the residual spiking the top growth as soon as it comes out of dormancy... quick Spring leaf growing occurs at the detriment to the root development...

as far as I've seen anyways... what they call December we call October as far as the growth cycle goes...

Well....I will be testing this product this season. I just need to find candidates with backyards hidden from view from the front.

My lawn is always used for side by side testing.

Using slow release synthetic fert and a bridge product before summer I can have a lawn looking really good with as little as 3 APS.....if they water correctly and are not.scalp mowing and bagging grass.

I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to up sell a fert program based on just 3-4 visits meanwhile Senske, TG and every other Larry Lawnman is pushing 5-7 APS here.

Slow Release for the whole season would mean 4 pounds of N in one application... Is that true???

One experience I had with the bridge program that you may want to look out for, was that early on the nutrient cycling wasn't cycling effectively... as long as you have synfert backup until the soil is built up as it needs to be, you should be fine...
That's where compost comes in handy... lots of activity immediately and plenty of food to continue into the future as soil structure builds... if soil structure fails, and living thatch develops, you'll always be at step 1...

I'd glady offer compost top dressing if I believed I could make money with it.

One of the bark blowing companies here also does treated sewage sludge compost blowing with the 250' foot hoses.

Where I'm at now, just as in the past, is I'm looking at slowly adding dried poultry waster in a walk behind spreader and whatever else can be cranked out on lawns.

It's been an absolute uphill battle to get clients and potential clients up to speed on what is good for the lawn. People just seem to want quick easy and green and btw can you mow it shorter next time.

You've just given me an idea about what I could do with one of my lawns... a pickup load of straight compost for the Spring app of a 9k yard and see how long the color stays up... If we have a cool Summer with decent rainfall it will be an excellent test...
I've always used it for troubled areas but never as a standalone fertilizer...
