THe B&S vangaurd is a good motor. It's a heavy duty commercial motor and should suite your purposes on a walk behind just fine.

I just bought a new ferris with a 32 Vanguard. The Vanguard isn't realy a Briggs engine. It's made by Daihatsu a Toyota company. It's only distributed by Briggs in the U.S. it's suppose to be a great engine and get better fuel economy than kawasaki.
