Fill hydro pump.

So in an effort to increase my knowledge I've been perusing the archives. I have came across several posts referencing filling your hydro pump with oil whenever you change out a pump on an Exmark Lazer.

My question is how do you fill the pump with oil and is it necessary?

Pour fluid into the large hose fitting holes in the head...
On rebuilds..I usually fill them before installing the head..
You have to have fluid in them before you spin the pumps...otherwise its metal to metal and junk in 10 to 20 seconds..
