I can't see the pic but all those varieties except hydrangea will do well in the afternoon sun. The more sun the nicer loropetalums look and encores need sun to bloom. The biggest mistake I see is people not using quality topsoil and not breaking up the root ball if its tight. It makes a big difference.
Yeah, I always like mixing in some compost/manure with the backfill.
Met with the customer yesterday and instead of the encores they were insistant on knockouts..........ehhhh, they have their place but they are begining to be overused. Well, I tried but I'll give them what they want since they are the ones paying.
