Inspirational pics from a past Lawn Striping Master, Eric Erickson (aka Eric ELM)

Now that the season is about to start up, I thought it would be nice to post up some inspirational pics of work done by the late Lawn Striping Master Eric Erickson. He was known on Lawnsite as Eric ELM.

Eric's website has since been closed, and I thought it was a shame that a good source of information with his beautiful lawn striping pics could no longer be accessed. The below link uses the WayBack Machine to go back in time to view a snapshot of Eric site exactly as it was back in 2000-2002.

Enjoy!

Probably the best stripes I have ever seen , and to think he did this without bagging and double blades.

I'm guessing those accounts were a stroke of luck that he handled with a hefty dose of respect.

I do believe Eric DID use doubles on his dixie choppers and Terracare did bag their lawns.

On the website he talks about double blades and how to cut without leaving clippings on the lawn,so I assumed that he wasn't bagging .

Absolutely gorgeous! Eric and Terra-Care definitely know what they are doing when it comes to striping!

Looking at the join dates of the members in this thread tells me that most of you don't realize that without Eric, Lawnsite would not be here.

He started it before there were forums as we know them today, back in the days of HallofForums.

Not too many members that are here anymore have been around that long. I joined after it split off from HallofForums and when Plowsite was a subforum of LS.

All that before sponsors and advertisers. He did it because he loved this industry. Not to make money from it.
