The lines about using most of your savings and not sure you really need it are the deal breaker for me.

IMO I would pass, seems a little high for a great deal on a mower. To me if you don't need it then it must be a supper deal to get it. Like you could turn around and sell it as a good deal and make 500. But that is my opinion.

I also agree the price is a little steep for this machine. Most around here go for anywhere from 1800-2400. If I could talk him down & tell him the reasoning why, I think I could get an excellent deal on it.

That was my reasoning: I guess I didn't make it very clear. The price could be better, but for what looks like a good machine it seems like a good deal.
