Stripe Kits

I am purchasing a new mower and I was curious to how many out there use stripe kits and after having one if you would go without one. I don't currently have one on my mower now (toro z master) and it leaves a really nice stripe. I am going to buy a new exmark lazer z.

I think exmark stripes pretty good without it, but if you are used to striping then I would get one.

I made one for my lawn tractor last year, and am going to make it for my 48 Viking too. Go to NAPA or any other place that has big truck mudflaps. Get one flap, cut it into strips 3-4" long and screw it/bolt it to the back of the deck. For less than $20 you have a stripe kit.

For the Viking, I am going to use a brush across the back. Simply because I got it free from my other job. Its tall bristle and only 1/2" wide. I am going to try to get it on tomorrow as I should be doing my first cuts on saturday.
