Too good to wave.....

Are you guys afraid of a little competition? Most guys around my area no matter big or small can lift a hand to even wave back to me or my guys when in our truck with or without our equipment. I have been in business for almost 10 years dont advertise much or low ball....the business i have is from word of mouth.....o well i will keep waving just to tick those stuck up guys off and for thoze of you that do wave good luck to you all!

I get the stink eye from the lawn guy that lives two houses down from me every morning when im loading up my equipment. companies around here rip up other companies yard advertising signs. its a blood feud waiting to happen.

next thing you know, theyll be loosening mower blades, slashing tires, putting gas in our oil supply.

its bad around these parts.

There are a ton of other landscape companies around me including one of my neighbors. So far I have seen no animosity. Got waved at just yesterday and i have networked with some other guys to pass business back and forth. Business is good with competition its the low ballers who bring down value.

I have some guys that will wave to me regularly, but most of them mean mug me like I am in "their area" and I better watch out.

I prefer to wave and be happy that I am able to get up and go each day. Life's too short for all the BS.

Most are friendly, some are ****** bags and wont. I just waive anyway. Its there problem if they feel threatened by my little lawn biz.

I know not everyone is like that but sometimes it just rubs me the wrong way...i do pass work around with other people in our field and it can be a huge help. just think if everyone could work together set the going rate, trade lawns to tighten up routes, the only thing that would set someone apart is quality no lowballing company could compete with every true lawn care company working together...i know i will keep dreaming but in a perfect world it would be great!
