If he was to buy the split shaft Sthil with saw, hedge trimmer and extension; im sure he is looking at $700+. If he already has a saw, then all he has to spend is apprx. $300 to rent a lift for a day.

There is an Old Blue Chair for each and every one of us, we just have to find it.

To be pruned properly, needs to be done by hand. I use a stihl p880 pole saw with a lopper head. I use a 20 ft. orchard ladder. Time consuming but correct. Charge accordingly.

Are you wanting to shear the tree or prune the tree? I did this one with a pole pruner & lopper head. A couple branches needed the saw, pain but it works. Needed more extensions than I had so ended up on a ladder to do the top.
