nicely tell cust

We are very busy with 2 landscape crews and dont want to put on a 3rd.

these crews do mostly hardscape work

How do you nicely tell customers that you dont really want the small mulching and pruning jobs without offending them?

You price yourself out of the work. If you happen to get the work, you just hit a homerun.

You have to do what is right for you AND you have to know what is right for you. Sometimes that means having to do the little things that are a PITA so that you continue to have the customer for what you need them for. Many maintenance customers are an all or nothing situation. If you don't do the "little things", they'll get the person that does the little things to do ALL of the things. One stop shopping is important to a lot of people.
