I remember learning anything more than waist level requires shoring or a trench box. I think Jim posted a Youtube clip that showed a collapse with an OSHA inspector chewing some a**.

Amazing how everyone on this forum has to man-up and say everyone else are hacks; if you do not do what they do. Funny but ha, whatever. Sprinklers are way above NASA material here.

And yes I was in the business years ago until I retired but do on the site.
