Heads up

If you are having discussions with your clients about doing roundup and re seeding on their own make sure they are not using one of the extended control roundups.

Got into this today with a conversation about tall fescue and quack grass etc.

I never thought of it before but the last few years they are selling roundup with surflan or I don't know what they are using. Prodiamine maybe.

Anyhow just tossin this out there.

Oh I guess this goes for the homeowner lurkers too and the less than licensed rookies.

RoundUp or branded weed and grass killers can be bought combined with Imazapic or Imazapyr. Again, I am surprised to see these products sold to homeowners. I know them as IVM herbicides with restrictions on site of use. Both are death to cool season grasses. Good precaution to share with DIYers. I tell people to just use plain RoundUp Super Concentrate if they want to kill things around the house.

Cadzilla, you posted this on the general pesticide forum..........if you are wanting this to get out into the public forum, repost it to the appropriate forum.
I agree to remind people of the many blends of products out there and the crack and crevice products don't need to be used in the lawns or shrubbery beds.
