The guy I recommended actually gets his trailers from Fayette trailers. I was going to recommend them but figured you were too far away.

Laser,
Thanks for the input. I wish he had called back
Can wait for the new arrival!
U7, 24" steel sides, dove tail, with the tongue box, and front tools box and racks. No compromises.

Too bad you up north. Down in Houston Nationwide is a great place to deal with. I'm from Maine originally and up north in general is a trailer wasteland. Very few to chose from and everything is list price. In Texas you have Bigtex, PJ and easily 50 other companies large and small who build trailers. It's easy to get a good deal down here and a customer built trailer if you need it.

Anyone who says they have over 1000 trailers in stock up north has got to be full of shick. I would dare to say very few places have more then 50 trailers of all types in stock.

The Poor Support Saga Continues

OK, so I am trying to prepare to go out and collect the new trailer.
Can anyone with a U& PJ tell me what style electrical hook up to expect and the probable height of the tongue so I can see if I have to adjust? I have an F250 with a 2" ball on a 4" drop. The Hitch alone is 19 1/8 off the ground, which was fine with the carry on but I am given to believe the PJ is taller?
Any help would be appreciated.

Best
Rob

When I got the new PJ I had to change from a 4 inch drop to a 2 inch drop to get the trailer to sit level. I have an F-150 and the distance from the floor to the top of the ball is about 17 and 1/2 inches. The electrical hookup is the standard small plug which I inserted into a 8 prong plug adapter.

And the saga continues. now I take back everything nice I said about Fayette. The screwed the order. 6 weeks later-still no trailer and looking at a min of another 4 .
What the hell is wrong with this company and their distributers?

Completely unprofessional. The absolute worst buying experience I have ever had.

That's incredible. A friend of mine a few weeks ago noticed my trailer and liked it. He called the place where I bought mine and he had one in a week. But it's the standard 6x12 so maybe yours is something special. Yes?
