Oklahoma Tornados

My prayers and thoughts are with our friends from Oklahoma..

I don't think a description of what I'm seeing on the news would do the damage justice. One farm had almost 100 horses killed. I hope that everyone else got out of the way or underground.
I hope that any forum members who live in that area are safe and careful during the clean up.
It's going to be a massive project..

It's heartbreaking. Looks like there may be some young casualties at that school.

In another life I was an EMT and first responder before that. Seeing the news just made me sick. Seeing those schools made me take my daughter for a walk and hug her..
As an equipment operator, I want to be available to help but it's too far for my setup and where do you even begin?
Absolutely hard to fathom... Life is short guys. Hug your family and friends.

Thank you for bringing this up YD. Sitting here watching on the tube, there's a helpless feeling that's even more intense knowing that there are many kids involved. All we can do is pray.

It appears that this tornado hit about 2 exits up I35 from where the big 1999 tornado hit. I was in Moore the day after the 99 storm, and, it was a horrible and chilling site.
My prayers go out to all those folks up there. I hear the death toll is now over 30.

We got hit hard here in Bamaland 2 years ago, its a real mess. Hope its mostly property damage and not people damage, I think the death toll in bama was 213.

If your near the aera and its needed give blood, we all can pray, and over the next few weeks find where to donate some funds to help things out.

Same here. I was on the Urban Search and Rescue team when i was a fulltime firefighter. When i saw about the school, i must have stood in the doorway of my sons room staring at him in his swing for 20mins straight. He is only a week old. But is the center of my world.

My heart and prayers go out to those who were affected. And may all those involved in the rescue/cleanups stay safe.
