Is this hustler a good deal?

I found a used hustler fastrak 36" cut for $1995 but it was bought in 2006. It has the 15hp Koehler engine instead of the honda. Why do you guys think?

It also comes with a mulch kit and cover

Looks like a low hour machine. The Kohler is just as good if not better than the honda. Will fit through most gates with the mulch kit. Good price but never hurts to offer less.

Unless he replaced all 4 tires recently I would say it has very few hours.

I would pay the asking. Id start at 1500 and work from there. They are solid machines and it doesn't look like that one has been abused in any way. I can tell you it would be gone already around here.

I don't think so; single cylinder Kohler versus a GXV530 Honda. I ran them both, back then, and ended up with the Honda. The Kohler was a paint shaker.

However, that'll be a good mower for small jobs, instead of using a walker.

Yeah I prefer the honda engines because of how quiet they are, I have a couple 21" Hondas and they are great engines and I've never had a problem with them. I can't go look at the mower till Tuesday so we will see then
