I have to agree with RJ. Seems a little excessive to rent the chipper for such a little job.

But maybe you scheduled a few jobs that day to make it worth the money?

Productivity and cost wise it made more sense to spend 150 to have a chipper for a day and have no dump fee than to have to take two trips with the dump truck to our dump site and pay like 200 to pay to dump the branches.

200 to dump that little amount of brush?! You need to find a new recycling facility. I would have paid no more than $10.00. Plus you could have easily fit all that in the back of your truck. Each there own though.

It is very expensive to dump whole logs around here where i live because the price of land is outrageous but the township lets me dump chips at there facilities for free which is nice and the 200 i said also included the fuel it would take to get to the dump site there and back

Even with fuel that's pretty costly. I dumped 4 yards of hemlock for like $45 and I'm on long island where nothing is cheap lol.

Having that option with your town is pretty sweet though.
