Lazer hp cutting out...

Hey guys, got a lazer z hp, 17 hp kawasaki, 44 cut, got the 2 tanks, filled both up this morning, about an hour into my mowing, the mower starts acting like its out of gas, so I just flip the switch and go to the other tank, and it runs fine, and then I look and I have plenty of gas in my original tank, what could cause he mower to cut out and be fine when I switched tanks ? Fuel filter maybe ?

Filter should handle both tanks, not one for each. Check the inside of your tank for anything blocking the pick up or any kinked lines.

also check the vent hole in the gas cap. if it doesn't have proper ventilation it wont allow gas out the tube. just like when you put a straw in liquid and hold your finger on one end.
