talked to the guy at Triple B.... their price is $42/ton "cash and carry".... they will deliver anything over 20 ton and the rate is $35/ton for 20+ tons.

38/ton here. Another 40 bucks if you want him to deliver as much as you want up to 10 yards I believe

River rock in my area is 65 a yard. What i do is go directly to a distributor. We have a large concrete / aggregate company. I paid 120 for 10 tons delivered

That's the only decorative rock native to the area so any other type of rock is in the range of $50-100/ton.

It helps here that there are six quarries in the county.

true, true... We have several quarries around, but none produce decorative rock outside of Triple B, that's about 50 miles away.

$13 per ton here... and I live one mile from the source! ( NOT the distributors ) Quarry is right down the road.
