Let it grow taller than the surrounding bermuda, use a foam applicator soaked in roundup on the blades of the broomsedge.

Last year I improvised a herbicide applicator for poison ivy growing in myrtle. I used barbeque tongs. I covered the tong with absorbent cloth attached with rubber bands zip ties or whatever. Then used a squirt bottle to squirt herbicide solution on the absorbent part. I grabbed hold of the weed and pulled the absorbent pads up over the whole stem, coating the whole plant. Wear rubber gloves.

Got all the necessary pre apps out, an app of 3way in the fall, then 3way again in February for broadleaves, got it on a proper fert program to kick the bermuda back into shape, then a blanket of celcius in May and the lawn looks 1000x better and is clean other than the broomsedge. I planned on painting it with gly this past Saturday morning. Drove by about 8pm Friday and it hadnt been mowed so timing was perfect to apply the gly, showed up Saturday morning and her son had mowed the grass Friday night DOH! My fault for not coordinating a time with her...

I do realize the value but I just don't have a use for it most of my yards are fescue and you can't hole on to it for ever. but when you use the last drop it's gone forever
