It's real simple,if they cancel figure up what work you have completed to this point and how much they would owe.then subtract out what they have paid thus far if there is a difference they owe it.

Yeah, I think I took it wrong. But I agree, they will be trying to find holes in my system, so I have to make sure I figure this out and have it in writing.
