Werner Multi Task Ladder?

In the market for a ladder primarily used for roof access. Looked at the multitask 22' ladder at Home Depot and really like the 18" span between the side rails at the top of the extension. This span appears to aid in stability. Anybody use this particular ladder? Your thoughts please.

I've used a 17ft muilti ladder not Werner brand though. I love it. It can get a little shakey when extended but I weigh 250lbs.

A stand-off attachment adds similar stability to extension ladders and protects gutters from getting dinged up or scratched.

Yes, your right. I believe Home Depot sells one as well.

I added this ladder to may ladder arsenal. It is used as much as any other ladder I have. Great for porch roofs and for getting to the roof above the porch as well. Here's the best stand off I have ever used. http://stores.homestead.com/LadderMaxLLC/StoreFront.bok
