just wondering.. on using trimmer..

Sometimes I let the bottom of my speedfeed head ride on the grass when either reaching under something or catching some grass area trim mowewr wouldn't get too. Is this a no-no to let head ride or touch ground while trimming? ( not meaning the bump to feed) I'm sure constant would premature the wear, but I'm talking just couple times per lawn. In most cases I get better trimming at slight forward angle but occasionally need to let it ride flat on ground.

Just make sure its not so low, that you are not scalping the lawn.

grass doesn't hurt it so much. just dont' do it on concrete or asphalt. it will wear the head out quickly.
