Lucky bastard. I'm begging for some rain. We always get more than we want in April/May and are praying for even a drizzle by July.

My Thursday routes go ...3 3man crews and 1 2 man crew.
I had the 2 man crew route split up and done by two of the Wednesday routes.
1 of the 3 man routes is a field mow route that we can postpone to next week.
Of the two routes left one pushed to Friday and still have one route left to mow on the 4th. So I dropped on a 4th man to help them kick it out and be done early.

Started mowing like a madman early Monday morning and kept going till 9 o'clock everyday and finished the last one up for the week at 6 p.m. today so I am free till Monday morning. So tired now I might have to sleep all day tomorrow.

I think there is a big difference between wanting to run your business on Holidays and saying you have to. You may have a problem somewhere if you think you have to do something you don't want to when you are supposed to be self employed. One day or a few days off are not going to break you or make you rich. Most customers expect you to take off during Holidays.
I think life is supposed to have a balance of work and relaxation, all year around. Very important to being physically healthy. Very important to the family side of things.

I agree 100%. Few people on here realize that.
