It would have to list price for $500 or less, I would think, or it never gets mass-market acceptance.

Medium-end clock would be $500.00 and up, until you get into Rain Master territory. I don't know if anyone offers ISP except the mega-ends. ISP is a great feature, but not for everyone.

Here you go. The cheapest controller Rain Bird makes and it's station independent. I think that we paid about $65 or so for a 4 station outdoor model last week. Comes in 4, 6 or 8 Stations. I don't know of any bigger station independent controllers from any manufacturer right now.

ESP-SMT is also programmable by zone/valve/station. Long time ago Toro used to make one as well, can't remember the model number though.

Hardie made one, as well. It was called the "Touch Command" and had as many ISPs as the zones, a very cool clock for its time. I believe, in the eighties, it was pricey, $500.00 or so. When Toro bought Hardie, guess what? That clock was dropped.
