Echo gets my vote, it has been great for the past year and a half and starts on the first or second pull. It seems to vibrate a little less than my stihl does. Take my vote with a grain of salt though, the stihl is about 2 years older and still running great. Both have about the same performance and get the job done.

I did break the recoil pull string starter on the echo this year though, quick change and took me all of ten minutes.

I still am rocking the shindaiwa eb802 for 2-3 years and I don't think I went wrong. I thoroughly enjoy using it. Plenty of power.

Buy as much power as you can. MUCH EASIER to throttle down, than wish you had more oomph.
