New Hydroseed Lawn Mowing

Had a pool put in and they hydroseeded about 3 weeks ago. Since then it has rained pretty much everyday, some days pretty hard so it is fairly wet. When I go to mow it the first time would I be better off to mulch it or bag it?

no expert here but I don't think it matters, biggest thing i would worry about is trying to mow grass when the dirt which is wet. This would cause ruts which you certainly don't want. wait a few days till the ground dries out to mow, its not going to be thick enough to make a difference. The thing now is to get the grass to thicken up to the other part of the lawn so you can mow all the same.

Yes it is best to be sure everything is thoroughly dried out when mowing... set the mower high and mulch mow taking 1/3 of the top, is ideal...
