Toro Decision, need advice!

Hello
I'm trying to decide what is the better decision here. Need advice... I want to buy a Toro Z Master zero turn mower. Here is my decision. I found a 2004 Toro Z Master Model 74246, commercially made and in excellent condition with 60" deck. It has 635 hours. No rust and just recently serviced. It's fully functional. It has a 27hp Kohler motor. I can get it for $3600.

Now, my alternative is to buy a brand new Toro from Home Depot, non commercial version and it cuts 50" wide. This one has a 23hp Kawaski motor.
I can get this for $4200.

I have to mow 2 acres with this mower and there are many trees.

What is the best decision to buy?

Any help is appreciated. Billy

Toro or Gravely

OK, the saga continues. I'm looking to buy either a Toro 74246 model (2004 with 693 hours) that is a nice mower with a 27hp Kohler and 60" deck. Or a Gravely model 991060 with a 23hp Kawasaki and 48" deck, with 818 hours on the clock.

Both mowers appear well maintained and got a good recommendation from the lawn maintenance shop. Both are selling for $3600 each.

Which is the better mower? Are Gravely mowers better by brand? Considering what I've stated here alone, which would be best to buy?

Need advice.............please...........Billy

out of what you listed, go with the gravely, toro will leave you with a lot to be desired, the gravelys are pretty good machines, toros are like fords, 80,000 miles and their toast!!!

Thanks!!! At this point, I need a zero turn and am doing a lot of research. All I have is $3600 to spend so a good used machine is probably my best bet. But finding one not beat up and has some life left in it is proving difficult.

That is a silly statement. You wouldn't say about exmark which is made by toro. I would be looking at that commercial toro. You should get another 1000 hrs out of it without much problems.
