What's up with the left tailgate cable, broken? Seems it might be a little unsafe if it is.

Yes the tailgate strap is broken, its on the "to do" list. I found the brackts in my basement but I believe t are heavy duty broom holder that you would use to hole them up on walls and such. The trimmer barely snaps into it so it is very tight, which is good
